The book, titled "In My Voices", shows a series of poems that have to do with the idea of the subconscious, unsaid ideas, unfulfilled desires, and monologues. The purpose of each poem is to explore situations which the author can't control, emotions she doesn't understand and, at times, let lose of certain inhibitions and dip into the pool of perdition. the poems presented are the end of a saga for the author and the start of another chapter in her life. This is show by the ever-resounding theme of pain, desperation, struggles, triumph, and nostalgia.
