the mouth sounds such hauntings

About this "Book" What you are about to read (or are considering reading, or have accidentally begun to read) is a collection of poems composed between 2012 and 2014. “UNTOLD,” “the mouth sounds such hauntings,” and “Windoor” were all written for reading experiences designed for Brown University’s immersive, virtual reality CAVE environment and have been adapted for ‘print.’ “best.hello” and “icarus” were originally composed for a flash web-poem, also entitled “best.hello,” and have been similarly adapted. “best.hello” is composed of text farmed from emails I received while writing it. The text for “a good, sound person” was composed by jotting down the unintentionally poetic utterances of John Terry. The original, digitally-mediated versions of (some of) these works are (or soon will be) made available at my personal website:www.kathleenottinger.com All my gratitude to Mairead Byrne and John Cayley for their support.
