Alvin T. Mwijuka was born and raised in Kampala, Uganda. He joined the United World College in Montezuma, New Mexico, where he completed an International Baccalaureate diploma. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Writing from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a degree in Engineering from the same institute.
