Rachel Valinsky is an independent curator and researcher based in Brooklyn, New York. From 2010-2012, she directed programming at the project space, Postcrypt Art Gallery, in Morningside Heights. She has curated several group shows, including Go on Remained at Jenkins Johnson Gallery. She works at Lisa Cooley, New York, and is the assistant director at Peninsula Art Space, Brooklyn. Rachel is a co-founder of Wendy’s Subway, a library, reading room and workspace for writers and artists in Williamsburg. Her writing is forthcoming in East of Borneo and Millennium Film Journal. She holds a BA in Art History from Columbia University.
